  • Course includes:  Development of knowledge and skills needed for emergency evaluation and treatment of seriously ill infants and children.  Highlights recognition of respiratory distress, shock and cardiac arrest and emphasizes the resuscitation team concept.
  • Manual includes: one PEARS Pocket Reference Card (#90-1062; also sold separately), one sheet of tab labels
  • Course completion: Students will receive a course completion card when they successfully complete the course, actively participate in the case discussions, actively participate in the Rescue Breathing Skills Station and cardiac arrest case simulation, pass the skills test in 1-and 2-rescuer child BLS with AED and 1-and 2-rescuer infant BLS, and pass the video based written exam with a minimum score of 84%
